Item Category
see picture of application screen
Every record is associated with a category (as used by the PalmPilot). The use of categories has many benefits including :
-
group records together for editing purposes,
-
group records together to enhance visibility and navigation
-
allow restricted searching capabilities
You can define up to 16 different category names, with the exception that one predefined category called “Unfiled” must exist.
Due to the hierarchical nature of the record list, there is only one restriction when assigning or changing the category names to records. You may only change the category of a root record, as subrecords automatically inherit the category of their parent.
